The Personalized Container Buildings Applied As Students' Dormitory

The container building could be designed with various styles and the cost of purchasing this container building could be accepted by most students. This is a new idea for college life, created by university college, design team and container building manufacturer in Belgium.

The container dormitory consists of one centre hub and some flexible extra cell. And the whole building could be moved to any location according to the requirements. In this way, the students could study at flexible location. They could have many choices for studying. The theme of the container dormitory is mobility, customization, modular construction, and personalization. One green unit, one passive unit, one street corner unit and three compressed units are connected through one central hub. In this modular construction, the students could come together and do activities. This central hub consists of steel structure, rigid frame, color steels, and a glass wall, creating a transparent space. The students will live in this container building, and do some study about this new container building. Some improvement project will be carried on in the next stage. Some energy efficient buildings will be created through the environment protection measures. The container dormitory end will be used by visiting lecturer and international students.

In fact, the designers created a temporary container building with features of sustainability and innovation. This building could encourage the teachers and students innovate in the course of learning knowledge. This is called the educational design by designers.
